  • What Are You Really Spending On? (Expense, Treat or Investment?)
    Jan 25 2026

In today’s episode, I’m reflecting on something that changed how I see money completely: the three types of spending — expenses, treats, and investments.

I share how I used to spend without thinking in my twenties, chasing experiences and buying things just because others did. But over time, I started to ask myself: Is this really helping me build the life I want? That’s when everything shifted.

This episode is full of personal examples — from lash extensions and high heels to toe spacers and organic food. You’ll hear how I now try to spend more on the things that bring long-term returns — not just in money, but in health, freedom, and confidence.

💭 I also want to invite you to reflect:

    • What was the last thing you spent money on?
    • Was it an expense, a treat, or an investment?
    • If your money could vote, what future is it voting for?

And if you’re thinking about starting to invest but don’t know where to begin — I’ve got a free beginner’s guide that I really wish I had when I started. Click on this link to dowload it: https://onestepwealthier.carrd.co/

  • Default or Designed: Are You Living a Life You Actually Chose?
    Jan 18 2026

In this episode of One Step Wealthier, I open up about two key moments in my life where I nearly followed a path that wasn’t mine—starting a family I didn’t really want and pursuing a career that didn’t fit my values. These were default decisions I almost made because they seemed “right” from the outside.

Join me as I reflect on how stepping back, questioning norms, and choosing consciously helped me avoid regret—and how you can do the same. Are you living a life that aligns with your values? Or one that’s just... expected?

    Let’s explore that together.

  • Why I’m Glad I Wasn’t Born in the “Good Old Days"
    Jan 11 2026

Ever heard someone say everything used to be better? In this episode, I’m challenging that idea. From stock market access to freedom of speech, we have more opportunities than ever before. As a woman, I reflect on how lucky I am to live today — where I can choose how to live, love, work, and invest. It’s not perfect, but it’s progress. Let’s put things into perspective.

  • Why I’m a Sleep Nerd (And Proud of It)
    Jan 4 2026

In today’s episode, I’m sharing my honest confession: I am a complete sleep enthusiast — or, as I joke, a sleep nerd. I talk about why sleep matters more to me than nights out, how I’ve built my perfect sleep routine (blackout curtains, earplugs, eye masks, and all), and how prioritizing rest has shaped my health, mood, and even my financial goals. I also reflect on how sometimes protecting your needs means saying no to plans — and that’s completely okay. If you’ve ever felt guilty for choosing an early night over a party, this episode will make you feel seen. Let's dive into why investing in your sleep might just be one of the best investments you’ll ever make.

  • Is Money Evil? What You Really Believe Might Be Holding You Back
    Dec 28 2025

Is money really the root of all evil — or is that just an old belief we never questioned? In this episode, I explore how our childhood experiences shape our money mindset and how those hidden beliefs might be quietly sabotaging our financial goals. I reflect on a surprising comment from a colleague, the deeper meaning behind our discomfort with wealth, and why rewriting your money story can be the first step to building a life you actually want.

  • Why I’m Glad I Didn't Invest in My 20s – Lessons From Die With Zero
    Dec 21 2025

In today’s episode, I share some reflections inspired by the book Die With Zero by Bill Perkins — and how it completely changed the way I think about money, investing, and life.

Instead of regretting not investing in my 20s, I now see those years as a gift: a time when I invested in travel, experiences, and building “memory dividends” that are still paying off today.

I also talk about how I now view life as a series of mini-retirements, and why balancing time, money, and energy is more important to me than saving everything for a distant future.

Join me for this personal reflection, and maybe rethink how you want to invest — not just in stocks, but in your own life.

  • Optionality Is the Real Goal (Not Early Retirement)
    Dec 14 2025

In this episode, I share a more honest reason I invest: not just to retire early, but to create options.

Financial freedom isn’t about never working again—it’s about never having to do work that drains your soul just to pay rent. It’s the freedom to walk away from jobs that don’t align, to switch careers, to take a sabbatical, or to chase something that feels more like you.

    I talk about:

    • What “optionality” really means in day-to-day life
    • Why you should still invest even if you love your job
    • How money gave me the ability to move countries, take risks, and walk away from misaligned paths
    • Why even small amounts matter—and how inflation and shaky pensions are real risks we need to face

Whether you’re all in on FIRE or just want to feel less stuck, this episode is a reminder that money is more than just money—it’s about dignity, space, and freedom.

  • You Are Not Your Past: Why I Choose to Build, Not Dwell
    Dec 7 2025

I didn’t have the easiest childhood—violence, instability, substance abuse. But I’m not here to unpack it. I’m here to say: it happened, and I chose not to let it define me.

In this episode, I talk about why I don’t lead with my trauma, how I process what happened without making it my identity, and why the victim mindset—though tempting—isn’t where I want to live. The past is my raw material, not my full story.

If you’ve had a tough start too, this one’s for you. Not for pity, but for power. For direction. For choosing forward.
