Hello hello!

I meant to drop this last week but took an unintended break whoopsies! But I will be taking an official break from my podcast until December 26? Around that time or at least that week as I want to focus on my finals in school right now and fully give time to them! That won't be too long hopefully and I will be posting more quick reviews of the movies I've already done podcast episodes on as a buffer so there won't be that much of an interruption of content coming from me!

This week is a quick one as I wanted to talk about Sanctuary (2022) and give it a rewatch but didn't have the time and ran into a short form drama called My Boss, My Rules that made me stop and try to think about all the media I've seen with a submissice man being dominated by a woman in live action specifically (I've run into this with webcomics but its not as widely done compared to something like BL smh). So anywho enjoy! I might revisit this this topic in a longer form in the future! :P

This week I was able to catch Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein in theaters ahead of it dropping in Netflix! I'm so so glad Toro was able to get a relatively long theater run as Netflix I've noticed usually only does about a week or so of a theatrical release before it gets put on its platform unfortunately smh. This is a goregous film! And unlike Nosferatu (2024) we don't get as much of an interaction between the creature and what would be the "love interest" (the quotes are more for Nosferatu rather than this movie). Been tired cause of work so sorry for not doing consistent uploads as of late :(

But I'm back this week with two movie reviews and some fun little tangents on shows I've been watching recently! I touch on a very late for me 24 years later disappointment in Moesha's series finale, some talks on the latest season of Gen V then I get into Berry Gordy's Last Dragon 40th Anniversary as I went to a screening for it as well as the 1998 film Devil In The Flesh starring Rose McGowan!
