Well they keep trying to go Donald T free and fail within the first 4 minutes, so the bar in this episode is really low. Dumb and dumber try to keep things light by skipping over the big issues in the news, (it’s all still rubbish) and instead talk about the hot weather spell in August. Hot summers as a kid, how Tanya kept cool, and had a Wendy house for a sauna. We find out about Tanya’s vacation plans, and how her and her cohort plan to terrorise the Alps and Provence. Someone’s one man show looms on the horizon, while someone else turns her nose up at the very idea of eating their placenta. Plus the question nobody ever asked goes un-answered… what eats a platypus?

This episode is the usual mix of eclectic nonsense, ridiculousness and is as daft as it always is, ( what do you expect from a two comedians and zero adult supervision), which is just the way we and we hope you like it.

This week our sack-less plums talk about ice cream for the dying, a game changing rejuvenating cream for your vagina, (and if you were to guess who did the research on that one, you’d be wrong). Tanya’s no longer waiting for a call back, Rodney comes up with a couple of alternative TV formats to Celebrity Shark Infested Waters. The plot of the play, The Estate by Shaan Sahota is discussed but not spoiled, but only just.

There’s all the usual stuff like the Teachable Moments, Movie Quotes and a couple of rubbish jokes from Rodney. One of our hosts admits to being a terrible back seat driver. Also if you listen carefully to this episode you might notice that, “The Donald” never rears his head, and Tanya’s phone finally stays silent… it only took 8 episodes.

In this episode the dim wits set out and fail very quickly to have a show without Donald Trump being mentioned in it. Tanya’s guts on more than a couple of occasions make themselves known, and her phone of course goes off. The pair both admit to shoplifting and Superman’s fundamental floor of being super is discussed. There’s some begrudging learning going on mostly from Rodney and Tanya tries to sound smart and knowledgeable, while passing off Google reading as her own knowledge.

There are better and more factual based podcast out there, just thought we ought to remind you. It goes without saying that this podcast is for the people like the storm troopers in Star Wars looking for droids. This podcast is puerile, witless and incredibly immature which we’re hopping is why you're listening to it. Just thought we should double check.

Bain and Yoda both make a brief cameo at the start of the show. Tanya is juiced up more than Lance Armstrong on a mountain stage, (doping control were notified, and blood samples were taken at the end of the episode). Rodney has a hot flash while talking about the Women’s Euro Football final. There’s a moment of silence for a couple of departed icons as well as the usual non-sense you’ve come to expect from these two numskulls.

Remember anything you learn from listening to the show should probably be fact checked, because they don’t.

In this episode the plonkers talk about new money, how long it would take for them to get cancelled, keeping score in a relationship, Shakespeare, a comedy competition, sweets, plus the movie quotes makes a welcome return, and a new segment called "top five". Tanya's phone rings yet again and she tries to avoid the wealth tax. Also Michael Cain pops in for a visit. There's more than enough other nonsense to fill another half hour of audio listening.

As BA Baracus would say : "it's just silly, pointless jiba jaba between two crazy fools." However do remember nothing on this show has been researched, fact checked or confirmed as historic fact. That would require this pair to do some actual work and research. Should you learn anything do remember that's your fault for listening.

This week the MENSA rejects talk method acting, the recent heat wave in the UK, photography phobias, Rodney's one man show finds a venue, spam and the weird rotary meat on display in a in a kebab shop. You don't get this variety on "Off Menu" or "Smartless." It goes without saying Donald Trump rears his head as always, Tanya does a two for one deal with another "teachable moment" and by making a good point. She also has to take the dog to the vet, which definitely isn't a euphemism.
