    The final episode of Nobody Special is now. Caleb and Danny have changing and shifting schedules as both of them enter into a new season in life. Danny had some progress in work opportunities that are taking a fair amount of time and Caleb recently got married to the wonderful Gracie. We talk about all the different changes in our life and then talk about trusting God through the changing of the seasons. 


    For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, ESV)

In this episode, Danny Talks About the various new releases Midnight Mass, Are You Afraid of The Dark, and Just Beyond on Netflix and Disney Plus. Then we talk about Hallowee and what role demons play in the spiritual war we all face. 


    “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and finding none it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house swept and put in order. Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that person is worse than the first.” (Luke 11:24-26, ESV)

For all the violence and language it paints a picture of humanity and who we become when the pressure is on. As a Christian, we experience trials that demonstrate and refine our faith. How will we act in the face of selfish decisions and what would we do if we were in the Squid Games.


    “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” (‭‭James‬ ‭1:2-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬)
