    Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (Japanese: 葬送のフリーレン, Hepburn: Sōsō no Furīren, lit. 'Frieren at the Funeral' or 'Frieren the Slayer')[b] is a Japanese manga series written by Kanehito Yamada [ja] and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe [ja]. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020; its chapters have been collected in 14 tankōbon volumes as of March 2025. It is licensed for English release in North America by Viz Media and in Southeast Asia by Shogakukan Asia.

    The series takes place in a fantasy world and follows Frieren, an elf mage on a journey to the resting place of souls to reunite with her former comrade Himmel, whose Hero Party slew the Demon King.

    Madhouse has produced an anime television series adaptation, with its first 28-episode season broadcast from September 2023 to March 2024. A second season is set to premiere in January 2026.

    By February 2025, the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga had over 24 million copies in circulation. The manga won the 14th Manga Taishō and the 25th annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize's New Creator Prize in 2021, and the 69th Shogakukan Manga Award and the 48th Kodansha Manga Award (in the shōnen category) in 2024.

    The elven mage Frieren is a former member of a party of adventurers who defeated the Demon King and restored harmony to the world after a ten-year quest. The party also consists of the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Before they part, they observe the Era Meteors, a meteor shower that occurs once every fifty years. Frieren agrees to see the group again for the next occurrence of the Era Meteors. Frieren departs and travels the world in pursuit of magical knowledge.

  • Venom: The Last Dance

    Venom: The Last Dance is a 2024 American superhero film written and directed by Kelly Marcel, which features the Marvel Comics character Venom. A sequel to Venom: Let There Be Carnage, it is the fifth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) and the third film in the Venom trilogy. The film stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and Venom, alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Graham, Peggy Lu, and Alanna Ubach. In the film, Eddie and Venom are on the run from both of their worlds.

    Hardy revealed in August 2018 that he was signed on to appear in a third Venom film and Sony Pictures began development by December 2021 after the second film was released. Marcel and Hardy were writing the script by June 2022, and Marcel was set to make her directorial debut with the film that October. New cast members, including Ejiofor and Temple, joined in mid-2023 and filming began at the end of June 2023 in Spain. Production was halted the next month due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, and resumed that November after the strike ended. The film was completed by the end of February 2024 and its title was revealed a month later.

    Venom: The Last Dance premiered at the Regal Times Square theater in New York City on October 21, 2024, and was released in the United States on October 25. The film received mixed reviews from critics with criticism aimed at its screenplay while Hardy's performance, the action sequences and visual effects were praised. It became a box office success having grossed $478.9 million worldwide.

The revived dojo attracts a group of bullied social outcasts who find camaraderie and self-confidence under Johnny's tutelage. The reopening of Cobra Kai reignites Johnny's rivalry with Daniel, who responds by opening the Miyagi-do dojo, whose students include Sam and Robby, leading to a rivalry between the respective dojos.Pre
