This new episode is certainly special, as the hosts Gasper and Ty bring you a feature interview episode highlighting Carrie Harris (@carrharr on Twitter). Carrie is a writer of books for all ages of nerds regarding all different types of focuses such as aliens, monsters, and superheroes from Marvel to boot! From that, she has also been involved in the tabletop game industry through the means of being a marketing executive, author, designer, and creative director.

This is an incredibly cool interview, where we get to know Carrie and her path towards being involved in the book-and gaming-related industry very well! Her story is beyond inspirational! It was quite fun and intriguing to navigate what exactly went into writing her books, as well as how closely-related writing books can be to creating tabletop games.

It's our third show of the year, following a hiatus that helped us get back to producing episodes for you in ways that are only going to get better as we go! This third episode, of the second season, will take you through many twists and turns! The trio of hosts, Ty, John, and Gasper, take you through recent happenings within the nerd-verse and how they affect the fans, as well as those potential fans out there. Regarding this new episode, Gasper, John and Ty go through what's going on with the current WGA Writer's Strike, how the strike is affecting current movies and shows, as well as what the future could hold if the strike lasts quite a bit longer. After speaking on the strike, the hosts walk you through a **NO SPOILER** review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, of which debuted publicly May 4th, 2023. Finally, throughout lots of digression, the crew speaks on what events stand out to them and end up going too deep talking about donuts! :D This show was a fun listen and the Nerd Rejects crew hopes you enjoy the show just as much!
