    Online Negativity & Nasty Comments

Before I wrap up today’s episode, I want to talk about something that so many of us deal with — especially if you’re online, building a business, or just trying to better yourself. And that’s the nasty comments people love to make on the internet.

It’s wild how easy it is for people to sit behind a screen and tear others down. They don’t know your story, they don’t know your struggles, and they definitely don’t know the work you’re putting in. But somehow, they feel entitled to judge, criticize, and comment on your body, your business, your choices — anything they can latch onto.

And let’s be real: the pandemic made this even worse. People were stressed, isolated, and looking for somewhere to dump their frustration. Social media became the place where negativity spread faster than any virus. And now, with Hollywood trends like Ozempic dominating the conversation, people feel even bolder about commenting on other people’s weight, health, and appearance.

But here’s the truth I’ve learned running my business: people who are doing the work don’t waste time tearing others down. The ones who show up, who grow, who heal — they don’t have the energy for hate. The negativity always comes from the sidelines, never from the people actually in the arena.

So if you’re listening right now and you’ve ever felt attacked, judged, or discouraged by online comments, hear me when I say this: those comments are not a reflection of you. They’re a reflection of the person who wrote them. You’re allowed to protect your peace. You’re allowed to block, delete, ignore, and keep moving forward.

My mission — through my business and through this podcast — is to help people rise above the noise. To focus on real health, real confidence, and real transformation. Not the opinions of strangers who don’t even know your name.”

  • First Episode of 2026 talk about my business and my mental health
    Jan 3 2026

In this episode, I open up about the journey of celebrating my son's achievements, discussing my mental health, and sharing my dreams for the future. Plus, I dive into how Walk of Wellness aims to make a difference for Canadians, especially those facing homelessness." And that should give it that friendly yet meaningful vibe.

Welcome to the very first episode of 2026. A new year, a new chapter, and honestly… a new version of me.

I’m Johanna, the founder of Walk of Wellness, a fitness business built on something deeper than workouts and routines. It’s built on the belief that movement is medicine, that healing isn’t linear, and that wellness is a journey—not a destination.

Today, I want to start this year by talking about two things that have shaped me the most:

My business and my mental health.

Walk of Wellness started as an idea, but it grew into a mission.

A mission to help people move their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and feel strong again—physically and mentally.

This year, I’m taking Walk of Wellness to a new level.

More programs. More community. More honesty.

Because fitness isn’t just about the perfect routine—it’s about showing up, even when life feels heavy.

Let’s be real: starting to run a business while managing mental health isn’t easy.

There were days in 2025 when I felt stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of myself.

But there were also days when I surprised myself—days when I pushed through, days when I grew, days when I remembered why I started.

    This year, I’m choosing transparency.

I’m choosing to talk about the hard days, not just the highlight reel.

Because someone out there needs to hear that they’re not alone.

    2026: A Year of Alignment

    This year, I’m focusing on:

    • Building Walk of Wellness with intention

    • Protecting my mental health

    • Creating a community where people feel safe, supported, and inspired

    • Moving my body not out of pressure, but out of love

2026 is the year I walk in alignment—with my purpose, my passion, and my peace.
