We are in a time with great opportunities to taste the boundless nature of existence. Whether through dedicated spiritual seeking – Qigong, Yoga,……energetic practices that cultivates the body’s energetic connection with the Cosmos, recreational substances, psychedelics, or  spontaneous moments of energetic flux, glimpses or extended periods of non-duality are surprisingly common. During these experiences, the left-brain’s constructed sense of self dissolves, often triggering feelings of liberation or, conversely, existential unease. For some, the familiar edifice of possessions, ownership, and free will feels dismantled, leaving behind a void.

Daoist practice like Tao Yin – 導引 Literally means inch by inch guides cosmos qi to the body, is the 6000+ years original form of Qigong, here inch by inch really means with peace and stillness. Ultimate stillness is when the left-brain chatter becomes quieter and quieter. Nirvana or non-dual, you never know when, is an onset energetic experience. For an aging person with the body energy not uniformly energized, not all 7 chakars are open, lots of dampness or blood clot, when the body is hijacked by the cosmos like a non-dual experience, the “no self” person can only totally surrender and wait for the waves of energetic event to happen moment by moment, many cites panic, pain, …, anything can happen. There is no “individual exist” to control how the body reacts. In this regard, while we are still able to live like a human, it’s obvious to equip the body, not exhaust our energy and through practices like Qigong or yoga opening up our energetic channels and centers for sure will prepare us for such event. This is not coming from fear, rather from prudent life wisdom.
