This episode is with my friend Jon Housholder. Jon is doing amazing things as a filmmaker and as a person of strong faith. It was such a fun conversation about all things Holy Spirit, along with some of his incredible projects—from Menards and NASCAR to Hope Worship, and his personal favorite, The Jukebox, which has a beautiful story behind it. Jon is incredibly talented, but even more than that, his love for his family and his love for Jesus shine through in everything he does. #holyspirit

This episode is with my friend Penny Sullivan. She's an incredible leader herself, but also has a heart for helping develop the next generation of leaders. She's also a mentor and excels at identifying potential in others. We had a pretty instant connection after meeting at previous jobs, and thankfully, we've stayed in touch over the years. I could talk with her for days about all things Holy Spirit, leadership, and mentoring. I am so inspired by her and am already looking forward to our next conversation. Thank you so much for joining me, Penny!

Today's episode is with my friend Gina Brown, founder of MAGNIFY Innovation & Leadership. Gina has spent over 25 years helping people and organizations grow in leadership, innovation, and understanding neurodiversity. She’s passionate about redefining what great leadership looks like and helping others unlock their potential. Gina earned her undergraduate degrees in psychology and art from Wartburg College and her M.S. in Leadership Development from Drake University. The greatest classroom of all has been the 25+ years of experience and people she has met along the way. She is a public speaker, certified coach, and a certified Narrative Big 5 Professional.

It did go long... but trust me on this... you're going to want to listen to the whole thing. Especially anyone with ADHD (diagnosed or undiagnosed) or ADHD tendencies (AKA easily distracted). Gina shares a wealth of knowledge throughout our chat, and I wouldn't be shocked if you end up taking a few notes (I know I did!).

Today's episode is with my friend Steve Opsal. I met him over 12 years ago, when we were both serving as Alpha hosts at our church, and continued to do so for several years. His story is powerful and made me laugh a few times (still looking for those green and purple faces in the hallways). He gets beautiful and powerful downloads from God that are great reminders for us all. I'm so grateful for his friendship and leadership in faith. He's great at sharing the Good News and pointing us all to The One. Thanks so much, Steve!

Today's episode is with my friend Ryan Pierce... AKA "RP". We met many years ago while serving on the worship team together, and became fast friends. And then for Christmas Eve in 2019, we became much closer while serving on the worship team for over 10 services in one day. It's like going to summer camp together, but all packed into one day. He makes me laugh so hard and we both have the gift of gab. I think we talked for around 2 hours, and I had to cut out some of the funniest jokes. Ryan has powerful stories to share, and I think you're really going to enjoy this episode. Thanks, RP!

Episode 12! Today’s guest is my friend, Pastor Danny Housholder. Danny’s depth of knowledge is incredible—I felt like I was taking a master class on the Holy Spirit. Wow. So much wisdom packed into this episode! You’ll also love hearing how the Holy Spirit shows up in Danny’s life—even leading him to a conversation with an atheist shortly before we recorded. Come on, you can’t make this stuff up! I’m so grateful for this friendship and conversation. If you’re in Ames, Iowa, be sure to check out Hope Ames and Kairos at Iowa State!

Today's guest is my friend Todd Dorr. We met around 8 years ago while I worked with him for a few months one summer. He recently wrapped up a career with Farrell's (FXB) that spanned nearly 3 decades. He's now in a new season of life, where God is growing him and speaking to him all the time. He was recently a mentor for Lead DSM's Community Connect program, where I am on the planning committee. It was so fun to reconnect and become closer as siblings in Christ. He has so many great Holy Spirit stories, and I am so grateful for the conversation we had.

I feel so incredibly honored to share this episode with you. My good friend Will Petersen has such a powerful story to share, and I am SO thankful he is here to share it with us! He has been through so much these last few years. He tells us about "that" day... when he was just six hours away from dying... SIX! He has a deep faith, and God did not fail him... He showed up in BIG ways for Will. We did go a little long with this episode, but it's worth every minute to hear his story. He makes me laugh so much during this chat (with a few tears in there, too)... which is exactly what happens every time I see him — sorry, Kristi! :)

And if you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, we are here to help, free of judgment and shame.
