• EP 133: All About Candace
    Feb 10 2026

If you’re new here, welcome 👋 This episode is part of our Get to Know Us series, and today the spotlight is on Candace.

From the outside, you might see the energy, the business, the mom life, the doing-all-the-things vibe. But in this episode, we’re going deeper. This conversation is all about who Candace really is — how she operates, what’s changed in recent years, and the parts of her story that don’t always make it onto social media.

If you’re a newer listener, this is a great one to help you get to know Candace better and feel more connected to the heart behind the mic.

On this episode, we talk about:

    • How Candace has so much energy to do all the things she does
    • The sides of Candace that no one really knows (or doesn’t share often)
    • Candace’s 50-pound weight loss and what that experience was actually like
    • Candace’s favorite Mom Group Chat episodes and why those ones stand out
    • && so much more!

Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you’re just finding the show, we’re so glad you’re here. You’re officially in the group chat now 💛

  • EP 132: February Catch Up
    Feb 3 2026

It’s our February catch-up episode, which means we’re covering a little bit of everything — real life updates, mom chaos, and the random obsessions that are getting us through winter.

Whitney kicks things off with a recap of the wild Nashville ice storm that left them without power for days. Freezing temps, no electricity, kids stuck inside, and parents doing the absolute most to keep everyone fed, warm, and entertained. The cabin fever was real, routines were gone, and survival mode was fully activated.

Candace recaps Gasparilla season — the chaos, the fun, the exhaustion, and the classic post-event realization that “this was amazing” and “I need three business days to recover” can both be true.

Then we get into our latest fixation: Heated Rivalry. We’re recapping it, talking about why we’re so obsessed, and yes… the obsession spiraled far enough that Candace signed Alice up for hockey. (Influenced by TV? Maybe. Regrets? TBD.)

Candace also shares what’s been weighing on her with applying to private schools — the process, the pressure, and the deeper layer underneath it all: re-evaluating why they want to go that route in the first place, and what actually feels aligned for their family versus what just sounds like the “right” move.

If you’re feeling maxed out, stuck in winter chaos, and using a TV obsession as a personality trait right now… welcome. You’re in good company.

  • EP 131: Parenting Chaos
    Jan 27 2026

This week’s Mom Group Chat is a little chaotic… which feels fitting, because so is parenting toddlers right now.

Candace and Whitney get real about this season of motherhood where the toddlers are testing everything, patience is thin, tempers are short, and it feels like you’re one spilled snack away from losing it. Candace shares a real-time realization she’s having about how she wants to show up differently, even when it’s hard, loud, and overstimulating.

In true Mom Group Chat fashion, the conversation takes a HARD detour into Bravo land (because sometimes Housewives drama feels easier than our own). But we bring it back to what’s actually underneath it all: we love our kids, we want to be better, and we’re trying to lean more into positive reinforcement instead of constant correction and snapping.

If you’ve felt like parenting your toddler lately is really freaking hard, and you’re not always proud of how you’re handling it, this episode is your reminder that you are not alone. We’re in it with you.

    We talk about:

    • Why this stage with toddlers can feel so overstimulating and relentless
    • That moment you realize you don’t actually like how you’re reacting
    • The guilt spiral after losing your cool
    • A very necessary Bravo tangent
    • Shifting from constant “no” to more positive reinforcement
    • Wanting to be better moms without expecting ourselves to be perfect

  • EP 130: Mom Group Drama
    Jan 20 2026

This week on Mom Group Chat, we’re diving into the celebrity mom-group drama that has been everywhere — and unpacking why it hit such a nerve.

We break down what actually happened with Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and the now-viral conversation around “toxic” mom groups, exclusion, and evolving friendships in adulthood. From subtle social media moves to public reactions (including when partners get involved 👀), we talk through what’s fact, what’s speculation, and why this story feels so familiar to so many moms.

Because let’s be honest — you don’t have to be famous to know what it’s like to outgrow a friend group, feel left out, or realize a dynamic just isn’t serving you anymore.

We also shift gears and recap some of our favorite moments from the Golden Globe Awards — from standout looks to pop-culture moments that had everyone talking, plus our totally unqualified but very passionate opinions.

✨ In this episode, we chat about:

    • What makes a mom group feel supportive vs. draining
    • Whether “toxic” is the right word — or just a reflection of misalignment
    • How adult friendships change after kids
    • The role of social media in amplifying private experiences
    • Why this drama resonated with so many women
    • Our Golden Globes highlights, fashion moments, and pop culture takes

As always, this is a judgment-free, sides-not-taken conversation — just real talk about motherhood, friendships, and navigating relationships in this season of life.

Grab your coffee (or wine), and let’s chat. 💬

  • EP 129: Moments to Look Forward to in Motherhood
    Jan 13 2026

It’s easy to get stuck in the hard of the now — the exhaustion, the chaos, the “will this phase ever end?” feelings. It’s also easy to already feel nostalgic for stages that are flying by. But in this episode, we wanted to gently shift the perspective and remind ourselves (and you) that every new stage brings its own kind of magic.

We’re sharing a few of the moments from right now that we’re genuinely loving — the things that have surprised us, softened us, and made us realize how sweet these later stages can be.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Making real mom friendships with school moms who are in the same phase of life
    • Watching our kids make friends and start building their own little social worlds
    • Those small-but-big moments of independence, when your child can suddenly do things on their own

This conversation is for the moms who feel caught between missing the past and surviving the present — and need a reminder that there’s still so much goodness ahead.

Wherever you are in motherhood, we hope this episode helps you take a deep breath and look forward with a little more excitement 🤍

  • EP 128: January Catch Up - Pedal to the Metal
    Jan 6 2026

We’re officially back and jumping straight into the new year with all the energy.

In this episode, we’re catching up on everything from the past few weeks and easing our way back into real life… while also feeling very ready to go full pedal-to-the-metal in 2026.

    We recap:

    • New Year’s Eve and how we rang in the new year
    • Candace’s birthday and all the feelings that come with another lap around the sun
    • The general excitement, motivation, and “okay let’s do this” energy that January brings

We also take a minute to reflect on last January vs. now — how different things feel, what’s shifted, and how intentionally putting ourselves first over the last year genuinely changed our lives. More clarity, more confidence, and a lot less tolerating what doesn’t serve us anymore.

If you’re feeling motivated, hopeful, reflective, or somewhere in between as the year kicks off, this one will feel like a cozy but energizing chat with friends who get it.

  • EP 127: Holiday Hangover
    Jan 5 2026

SURPRISE. This episode was recorded on 12/26, meant to go live on 12/30… and then the holidays happened. You know how it goes. So here we are, dropping it now as a little bonus episode straight from the weird, cozy, disorienting space between Christmas and New Year’s.

In this episode of Mom Group Chat, we’re fully in the in-between. The fog. The “what day is it?” energy. The debate of all debates: do we stop drinking and try to reset our lives… or do we simply keep the party going until January tells us to stop?

We recap our Christmas days, all the plans we somehow packed into one week, and the chaos and sweetness that comes with it. Candace talks birthday plans, we reflect on how full (and tired) we are, and mostly just let the conversation wander exactly the way it does during holiday break.

No big theme. No lessons. No tidy wrap-up. Just a mish-mash, ramble-y, honest check-in from two moms trying to find their footing before real life kicks back in.

Think of this episode as a voice memo from your friends while everyone’s still in leggings, eating leftovers, and pretending January isn’t coming yet.

  • EP 126: Goodbye 2025, Hello 2026
    Dec 16 2025

We’re officially closing the book on 2025. In true Mom Group Chat fashion, we’re getting honest, reflective, and a little excited about what’s next.

In this episode, we’re walking through our goals and intentions for 2026, breaking them down into the categories that matter most in this season of life. This isn’t about rigid resolutions or pressure to “do it all.” It’s about clarity, alignment, and deciding how we actually want the next year to feel.

    We dive into:

    • Family: What we’re prioritizing at home, the kind of presence we want to bring into our families, and the boundaries we’re setting to protect that time
    • Health: Shifting away from all-or-nothing thinking and focusing on sustainable habits that support our energy, strength, and mental health
    • Career: Where we’re feeling called to grow, what we’re letting go of, and how we’re redefining success in this next chapter
    • Mom Group Chat: Our vision for the podcast in 2026, what we’re excited to expand, and how we want to show up for this community
    • Personal Growth: The internal work, mindset shifts, and intentions we’re carrying forward into the new year

If you’re heading into 2026 craving more intention and less pressure, this episode is for you. Grab a coffee, take a walk, or listen during a rare quiet moment—and maybe let this be your permission slip to reflect on what you want next.
