    is an attorney, notary public and Louisiana title insurance agent. In 1995, he earned a Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University, and in 1991, he obtained a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri. After law school, he worked briefly in the legal department for Bollinger Shipyards before spending two years working for a maritime defense law firm in New Orleans; he then began his private practice in 1997. He is the immediate past president of the Louisiana Association of Independent Land Title Agents (LAILTA). Woody has testified before the Louisiana Legislature in favor of proposed title and settlement law and is a continuing education lecturer for LAILTA, National Business Institute, Security Title and the Bayou Board of Realtors. He is also the author of three books, One Dream: The NFL (2001), Rise of the Cajun Mariners: The Race for Big Oil (2007) and The Miracle of St. Genevieve: Vatican II and the Victory of Faith (2010). In addition to telling stories and spending time with his wife and two daughters, he loves to grill, catch speckled trout and follow LSU, Mizzou and the Montreal Canadiens.
