    Feb. 22, 2026 ~ For nearly four decades, MCREST has served as Macomb County’s front-line response to homelessness, providing emergency shelter, meals, and case management to more than 600 individuals each year, including families and children. Fifteen percent of MCREST guests are children. Scott Joy, marketing and communications Director for MCREST, joins Michigan Voices. After the loss of her sister, Dre, Jennifer Jackson founded The DRE Project to honor her memory.
