We’re starting Week 2 of our Lent Plan: God the Rescuer. Today, we’re looking at Exodus 1:8-14. Before we can celebrate the rescue, we have to talk about what it feels like to be stuck. We're looking at those seasons where life feels like a "grind" and remembering that God sees us in the middle of it.

This past weekend, my niece gave everything she had on the state dance floor until her legs literally gave out. Her sister had to pick her up and carry her.

It reminded me of my last marathon—the miles where I was ready to quit and the sister who showed up to walk me to the finish line.

In this week's 3-minute devotional, we look at Ecclesiastes 4:10 and the importance of "our people." We’re talking about:
