Magic Muggle: A Harry Potter Aftershow is a heartfelt journey through the wizarding world — one chapter at a time. Hosted by Eric Sequeira (aka Mr. Honest), a longtime fan returning to Hogwarts with fresh eyes, this show blends cozy nostalgia with honest reflection. Whether you're a first-time reader or a lifelong Potterhead, Magic Muggle invites you to rediscover the magic, the meaning, and the moments that shaped a generation. Each season explores an entire book in depth — along with its film adaptation — tracing how page and screen bring the wizarding world to life in different ways. The journey will ultimately lead to the brand-new Harry Potter series from HBO, which we’ll be covering as it releases. No prerequisites. No rush. Just one muggle, one mic, and a whole lot of magic. ✨ New episodes every Saturday at 4:00 A.M. CT.Copyright 2026 Kunst
  • S4E2 - Chaos, Comfort, and the Road to the World Cup (GoF Ch. 4–6)
    Jan 10 2026

In this episode of Magic Muggle, we continue our journey through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, covering Chapters 4 through 6: Back to the Burrow, Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, and The Portkey.

Harry escapes Privet Drive in spectacular fashion as the Weasleys collide head-on with the Dursleys, reminding us exactly where Harry belongs. From there, we settle into the warmth, chaos, and comedy of the Burrow — reuniting with Hermione, meeting Bill and Charlie for the first time, and watching the twins’ joke-shop dreams clash with Molly’s expectations.

But beneath the humor, the world is quietly expanding. We learn how the wizarding world actually functions — from Apparition to Portkeys — and follow Harry as he’s physically pulled into something much larger than home and family: the scale, systems, and stakes of the wider magical world.

These chapters are funny, comforting, and deceptively important — setting the board for what’s about to become one of the most eventful stretches in the entire series.

    Wands down, hearts full.

  • S4E1 - Shadows Before the Flame (GoF Ch. 1–3)
    Jan 3 2026

We’re officially stepping into Goblet of Fire, and the story wastes no time reminding us that the world is already moving — whether Harry knows it or not.

In this opening episode, we cover the first three chapters: “The Riddle House,” “The Scar,” and “The Invitation.” These chapters may be short, but they carry enormous weight. We begin far from Privet Drive, at a forgotten house steeped in rumor, guilt, and unfinished evil — where Lord Voldemort is no longer a myth, but a planner quietly arranging his return.

From Frank Bryce’s tragic role as a scapegoat, to Voldemort’s calculated patience, to the moment Harry wakes with his scar burning hundreds of miles away, Goblet of Fire makes one thing clear: the danger has already begun.

Back at Privet Drive, we reconnect with Harry’s inner world — his isolation, his growing support system, and the quiet strength he’s gained. And finally, “The Invitation” brings humor, warmth, and relief as Harry secures his escape to the Weasleys and his first glimpse of the Quidditch World Cup.

Together, these chapters set the board for everything to come — love before loss, safety before escalation, and a Dark Lord who is no longer hiding.

Welcome to Goblet of Fire. The game is about to begin.

  • S3E9 - Prisoner of Azkaban (2004): The Film, the Fear, and the Truth
    Dec 27 2025

In this episode of Magic Muggle, we take a reflective look at Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban — not just as a movie, but as one of the most emotionally faithful adaptations in the entire series.

After finishing the book and watching the film back-to-back, I found myself mixing the two together — and instead of feeling like a mistake, it felt like proof of something rare. Azkaban isn’t trying to summarize the book. It’s translating its soul.

    We talk about:

    • Why this story marks the quiet end of Harry’s childhood

    • How tone, mood, and visual storytelling replace exposition

    • Why the film’s cuts work — and what it adds emotionally instead

    • The heartbreak and hope at the center of Harry and Sirius’s relationship

    • And why this movie still ages beautifully, even decades later

This isn’t a scene-by-scene breakdown. It’s a conversation about why this one works — and why it still feels special every time we return to it.
