February 15, 2026: MSU returns home for a two game stand on Tuesday night starting with UCLA. The Bruins are a game back from Michigan State in the standings but have to be a little disappointed with how the season has gone so far. Highly vaunted prospect, Donovan Dent, who the Spartans faced in the second round of the tournament last year was supposed to be the missing point guard part the Bruins would need to be on the next level. That hasn’t been the case this year as the purportedly $4 million man is shooting under 20% from 3 - and is down in virtually every category of shooting this season.

But Michigan State has had some problems of their own of late. Namely getting off to slow starts and some problems in offensive stagnation. Those are, at least in part, dependent on Jeremy Fears, Jr. and his ability to get the team into its offense. One thing to watch this game is the boards where MSU should have a dominant edge on both ends and should get some extra points on offense and hold the Bruins to just one chance.
