    Everyone and everything on earth does have a purpose, but it doesn’t mean we as people are fully aware of them. When people turn their backs to God, they cannot know their purpose.

    According to Dr. Myles Munroe, rejecting God is like buying a really expensive piece of equipment and throwing away the owner’s manual. If you get something to work under those circumstances, it’s only by pure chance. What’s more likely is that it will never fully express it’s potential and it will never fulfill its complete purpose.

    Are you living in the way you’re supposed to function? Have you maximized your potential? It’s almost impossible to do so if you don’t know your purpose in life. Many of us don’t know God’s way or the way we were originally designed to function. If you want to know everything about yourself, you need to go to Him.

    You may not know how to be a husband, father, and leader. Even if you have some insight, God can offer you more. It’s powerful to really know who you are, and knowing your complete purpose in life is fulfilling. If men and women continue to abandon their purpose, humanity will never function properly.

    This is your opportunity to know God’s purpose for you. When you abandon God, you abandon yourself and the commitment to getting to know who you are. When you abandon God, hurt happens, and you pass that hurt down from generation to generation. When you abandon God, you abandon stability because He is your foundation.

    God created everything with a purpose. According to Dr. Myles Munroe’s book “Understanding the Purpose & Power of Man,” this is one of the core principles that needs to be acknowledged by men.

    In his book, Dr. Munroe emphasizes that God created everything with a purpose in mind, and everything He has made is the way it is because that’s how he intended it. The purpose of a thing determines its nature, design, and features. Everything is made with forethought to purpose and design, including us.

    People would rather worship created things than the creator himself. People idolize people when they should be emulating the creator. We continue to live in a confused world where we don’t know who we are or what our purpose is. Where do we find that answer? Only with Him.

    God is the manufacturer, and He thought about your purpose before he created you. As men, we are His product, and only He can know the way we were designed. You may hear opinions from other men on the way we’ve been designed, but they can’t have the answers because they didn’t have a hand in our design.

    God has given you certain abilities and gifts so you can do what you’ve been called to do on this earth. He wants to give you clarity, but it requires you to go to Him. Ask him who you are as a man and what your purpose is. Ask what you can do for Him.

    God created everything for a reason. We, as people, often look to man for purpose, when only God can reveal this to us the work that we’ve been called to do. We live in a world of instability, confusion, and lack of understanding. So where can you find guidance? With Him.

    He has a purpose for everything he’s ever done. Every step has been intentional, meaningful, and guaranteed to succeed. Humankind is not an experiment. We are not a mistake. We all have a purpose to fulfill. For men, we’re called to function as fathers, leaders, and be the foundation for the family.

    Even though you may not believe it right now, you were designed by God to succeed. It’s up to you to pursue God and give your life to Him so you can do what you’ve been called to do. Through seeking God, you get understanding and truth. You get direction and vision. As you connect with God, He’ll help you get out from the dark and understand who you are.

    It may take a few times of getting this message to be able to receive it. Remember this: God gave you a specific meaning on this earth. You have to be willing to put in the work to discover what that meaning is. Thank you to God for His grace and mercy.

    We’ll be talking about God’s priority for man in this episode of the MAN-NERISM podcast. When we live in a democracy, we function with choice and independence. In God’s kingdom, we must function under God. His word is His bond, and we are meant to abide by His rules. We have to get out of the democracy mindset and learn to follow Jesus.

    A kingdom naturally has territories as well as rules and regulations. When you don’t follow the rules, there are consequences. Men are designed specifically to be connected to God and His plan. So, what is a priority? It’s a primary focus—something that has high value and worth.

    What are you placing importance upon? If you’ve found your role and purpose as a man to be confusing, you need to get in touch with God’s priority for you. You’ve been called to expand His territory. Men need to be in their homes, leading their families. This is the man’s responsibility.

    Stop existing and start living life with a purpose. You can have all the material possessions you desire, but without knowing your purpose, you will never be truly fulfilled. When you set the right priorities in your life, you start using your time and energy wisely. You protect your talents and gifts, and you simplify your life.

    Living out God’s purpose starts with you. Your relationship with Him sets the foundation for your family and your life. In your house, you should make it a priority to serve the lord. Embrace His truth and say yes to His will.

    Today we’re opening up with scripture. Specifically, the book of James. The passage shared really highlights just how we have gotten away from God. Humankind is experiencing an identity crisis, as so many are trying to live separately from Him.

    As a Pastoral Counselor, I’ve seen identity issues, ignorance, and a lack of vision in the people who struggle the most. They feel a sense of instability and lack of vision. They feel stuck and indecisive in their decision making. If you want to know the true meaning of who you are, go to God and ask Him. Not only that, but when you ask Him, are you going to believe Him?

    If you can relate to feeling in ruins right now, it’s your sign you need a relationship with God. We’re here to expand his kingdom. We’ve been given words and principles to live by, but we’ve fallen to sin.

    Words and values create principles, and you apply those principles to your life. So, who are you going to get those words and values from? Men who are equally as lost? Turn to God, who knows your purpose. Connect to that source. If you rely on other people to shape your purpose, you will become a conflicted man.

    The choices you make as a man, especially sins of the flesh, can impact your family and children for years to come. God has given you responsibilities. Take heed to God’s wisdom. Study his word and instructions. Have humility and make it your heart’s desire to serve the lord.

We are in the midst of a male identity crisis. Understanding how God wants us to be helps us function the right way in the world.

    God wants us to bring kingdom here on earth. God created one man, Adam, from the soil, and from him all men have come. This is amazing. Yet, in today’s world, we have lost our connection to God despite being created to have a relationship with Him. It takes time to build this relationship, and to learn how to take on the role of provider.

    We live in two systems: one is independent from God, and the other is with God. Being independent from God and dealing with Him on your terms does not work. Finding your purpose for being comes from prayer, being quiet, and learning to listen to Him. This is the root of healing in your life.

    What happens when we don’t follow God the way man is intended to? We hurt people. We chase things that don’t matter. We aren’t there for our families the way we should be. A relationship with God requires humility and a willingness to make mistakes, and to use the lessons you learn to lead those who look up to you.

    The MAN-NERISM podcast is for young men who are trying to figure out their purpose, how they are supposed to lead, and what it means to be a man. It’s also for single mothers who have sons and are looking for guidance on how they should be raised. It’s for anyone who wants to explore how God wants man to function.
