Erik was born with Choroideremia (CHM) is a rare inherited disorder that causes progressive vision loss and ultimately leads to complete blindness. In spite of this Erik makes it out to every show he can, and he is always the life of the party. He has also traveled all over the world to raise awareness for issues surrounding blindness and visual impairment for multiple organizations.
