    It’s every parent’s frustration at one point or another. The dreaded selective hearing of our children. We ask them to do something over and over and over and then we loose our cool—either doing it ourselves or resorting to yelling. “There has to be a better way!” That was my thinking 9 years ago. I admired the parents who seemed to gracefully ask their child to do something and with what seems like very little effort at all, the children follow through on the request. So what was their secret? That’s what we dive into today with these four simple steps (along with a thought provoking approach to why it matters!)
