  • S4 E3: The Technical Study of Grad School and Brain Rot Ft. Charlotte Hernandez-Waite & Tim Fincher
    Feb 19 2026

🚀 This episode's mission log aboard the Podcastares demystifies some aspects of the internet's most recent developments.

☕ We re-explore what it means to be human through an experience of sharing the sweet aroma of caffeine through a cup of coffee.

❌ Against all odds, my first grad school application was turned down. We explore some measures to succeed in future applications.

🕛 Time already flew by for some courses, particularly Lean Six Sigma II (accidentally categorized as III in the recording), through the effortless completion of the quizzes due to Green Belt training.

🤯 Rickroll is being used more frequently again. Why? Perhaps some trends on the internet that are responding to current popular memes might explain it.

We are wondering: 🤔 What are your action plans to combat brainrot on the internet? 👇 Drop a comment below and stay tuned for our next episode, slated to be recorded after Valentine's!

  • S4 E2: AI Skills, Scope Creep, and Ideation Galore Ft. Charlotte Hernandez-Waite
    Dec 26 2025

🚀 We are back in orbit aboard the Podcastares for Season 4, Episode 2! This week, we are balancing the server load between heavy academic grinding and the evolving landscape of content creation. Here is what is in the mission logs:

✨ Level Up: I officially secured the PMI-CPMAI certification within the first three weeks of the term, completing my certification trifecta. I also made my debut as a podcast guest, learning to swap pure enthusiasm for an objective, fact-based stance.

👾 The Glitch: Just like a corrupted save file, scope creep tried to derail my semester. Between narrowing down research topics and the burnout from GIS 207, the learning curve spiked immediately after passing my exam. The lesson? Document every change, or you lose sight of the project.

🎓 Student Chronicles: We are deploying "Project Kaizen-Tutor," an initiative using AI training to help tutors save time and boost student retention. My AI skills are officially sustainable, meaning less rework and more value creation.

🎥 Creator Patch Notes: Huge news for the modding community—Nintendo’s "Character Summoning" patent was denied due to lack of novelty (shoutout to Ark and Pokémon Go for the prior art). Also, Audacity 4 is on the horizon with a new UI and Qt framework, aiming to evolve beyond just a vocal recorder.

🎁 Stick Around: You will want to watch until the very end. Let's just say I pulled off another gift-giving stunt at the Merry Friendsgiving event, and Charlotte never saw it coming.

Join the conversation: 🤔 How do you handle scope creep in your creative or academic projects? 👇 Drop a comment below!

  • S4 E1: New Technological Beginnings--Study Abroad AI Innovation Ft. Charlotte Hernandez-Waite
    Nov 10 2025

🚀Season 4 lifts off aboard the Podcastares with a full catch-up on a transformational summer and how it’s reshaping the show. Here’s your sneak peek:

✈️What went well: I turned 21 while studying in Finland (hello, Lohikeitto!), soaked in new perspectives, and finally revisited Crater Lake. How those moments rewired my confidence and observation skills as an autistic creator and student.

🕛Setback → solution: A 12-hour customs delay turned into a Lean Six Sigma improvement idea for future study-abroad cohorts—because process pain should become process gain.

⚡Student life, supercharged: 14 credit hours, coding sprints, official Lean Six Sigma practice, and passing the CAPM exam—plus how these wins feed smarter project management for the channel.

📹Creator updates: Season 4 goes video-first, recorded in OBS, engineered in Audacity, and templated in DaVinci Resolve for faster turnarounds; our behind-the-scenes Globalization Squad begins subtitling work; and we review platform changes and tool updates.

🤣Charlotte also keeps “accidentally” teasing Episode 2 details—proof that when production takes longer, her hype meter refuses to stay muted. (We’ve instituted a No Spoilers Without Snacks policy.)

🤔Which professional certification are you aiming for next—CAPM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, cloud, cybersecurity, something else? Comment below and tell us why.

Subscribe, like, and share—Season 4 is built to deliver more value, faster, with cinematic polish and global accessibility. See you on deck!

Translation: faster uploads, tighter edits, clearer storytelling—so episodes release on time without sacrificing quality. 🎥✨Inside the trailer, you’ll see our new neon HUD, show segments rendered as holo-panels, and that signature fourth-wall mischief (because of course we poked the ship’s intercom 👀). The heart of the show: balancing college rigor and creative ambition—study tactics that actually ship, production workflows you can steal, and honest talk about time, energy, and boundaries. • S3 Finale: A New Theoretical Technology Chapter Unfolds Ft. Charlotte Waite
    Jun 29 2025

Hey folks, welcome to the Season 3 Finale of Life of a Content-Creating College Student! 🎉 Over the past two weeks, I’ve savored meals with amazing company, worn white-tie attire at the Leadership & Service Awards, and begun my pursuit of the Six Sigma Green Belt this summer (Spoiler alert: I already obtained it, and it only took one week)! 💚🚀

Academics & Growth: Between presenting the Ikan Case Study in BUS 326 and leading our PSY 347 seminar (which prepared me for IDEAfest 2025, attended by 14 incredible peers!), I’ve wrapped up crucial assignments in MIS 206 and dove deep into confidence intervals in STAT 243Z. These experiences taught me that “progress over perfection” is the real key—especially as I book my upcoming trip to Helsinki, Finland for study-abroad adventures! ✈️🌍

Content Creation & Tech: On the creative front, I’ve been wrestling with DaVinci Resolve Studio—experimenting with HDR color grading, audio-engineering plugins, and constant playback/export troubleshooting. It’s a beast compared to Pinnacle, but once the learning curve flattens, those AI-powered tools will take our visuals to warp speed! 🎥🤖

A special, belated heavenly birthday shout-out to Sandra Kemper, whose unwavering support since the Hurst Entertainment days still inspires me today. 🕊️✨

As we close out Season 3, I’m forever grateful for your support. Stay tuned for Season 4’s sci-fi podcast spacecraft, AI backgrounds, and dual-perspective format—you won’t want to miss it! Until then, keep balancing campus life and content creation like a pro.

  • S3 E8: Innovation & Information Galore: A Step Towards Creative Processes
    May 27 2025

After a technical difficulty delay in the release, we're finally back with one of our most packed episodes yet—Season 3 Episode 8 of Life of a Content-Creating College Student! This episode marks a historic milestone as we welcome a full cast of five voices to the podcast: Luis Solis, Luis Espinoza, Hayden-Niewhal Thomas, Charlotte Waite, and yours truly, WayneZ0207™️. Together, we dive into the recent whirlwind of excitement at Oregon Tech and beyond. From winning the Encore Award at Catalyze Klamath for my youth development concept Youthtopia, to traveling for the grad school trip in Portland (yes, there was a hot tub involved), this episode is jam-packed with growth, laughter, and tears—literally, as Charlotte shares how the TOP Honors speech moved her to tears. 😭✨

Academically, I’ve been burning through projects faster than Nintendo can brick your emulator (don’t worry—we talk about that too). I’ve been tackling my final projects for PSY 347, BUS 326, and STAT 243Z, and managed to finish MIS 206 early after wrapping up a major paper on automation’s industry-wide impact. Meanwhile, content creation hasn’t stopped. I’ve been putting DaVinci Resolve Studio 20’s Beta Version 3 through its paces, using its 78 neural engines and AI-driven tools to remaster content—upscaling the Catalyze stream to stunning 4K HDR. And yes, the editor is more demanding than OBS with 20 Chrome tabs open, but worth every crash for that visual gold. 💻🔥

Shout out to Dr. Wilson for IDEAfest sponsorship, Miguel Figueroa for his project management insights, and creator credit to Dantic (check out his flight class gaming adventures here and Screen Rant for their awesome Star Wars blogs! 🌟🎙️

Don’t forget: new episodes are available on YouTube, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Facebook, and Amazon Music!

🎉 BONUS: Our WayneZ0207 5th Anniversary celebration continues—here’s a reassuring congrats, reminding us of this year’s award winners:

  • S3 E7: 5 Year Legacy--an Academic and Creative Tribute Ft. Charlotte Waite
    Apr 23 2025

Hey folks, welcome to Season 3 Episode 7 of Life of a Content-Creating College Student, also known as the WayneZ0207 channel's 5th Anniversary Special! In this episode, I reflect on the incredible journey of balancing academia and content creation, and celebrate the evolution of our work over the past five years—from the humble beginnings of Hurst Entertainment with the original trio (myself, GlVikingFisherman63, and MattDC123) to the multifaceted projects we’re tackling today.

Academically, the last two weeks have been transformative. I secured a nomination supported by glowing recommendation letters from Alex, Professor Kivatinos, Clint, Professor Hallie Neupert, and Dahiana Padilla, and both Charlotte and I shared the Creator Legacy Award at our 5th Anniversary Celebration. I was also invited on an inspiring trip to Portland to explore graduate schools while earning TOP Honors for the third consecutive year. These experiences underscore how every academic challenge is an opportunity to unlock not just individual success, but the success of our entire community.

On the creative side, we’ve grown tremendously. I learned valuable lessons from ethical leadership, effective public speaking, and in-class experiments that remind us that content creation is a form of personal selling. We also recognized our journey through the 5th Anniversary Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to our award winners: the shared Creator Legacy Award to Charlotte Waite and me, the Stupendous Second-in-Command Award to Charlotte Waite, the Life of the Creator Award to Alex Lumbreras, and the Punchline Pandemonium Award to GlVikingFisherman63. And, of course, we can’t forget the Sinister Stream Scoundrel Award—a victory for the Gatekeeper that we mock every chance we get!

Thank you for being part of this adventure as we continue to break barriers, refine our skills, and push the limits of creativity. Stay tuned for more epic moments as we keep bridging the gap between academic rigor and multimedia innovation.
