Everyone defines their identity by what they do, what they have, their political affiliation, their gender identification, or anything and everything else, but it’s not who you are, it’s whose you are. Everyone defines us or attempts to create our description of who we are. God designed us, and GAVE us our identity. Our identity is received, it is not achieved. “We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works” Eph 2:10. Therefore, watch and hear who created us, formed us, and understands us better than we understand ourself. We are the clay, he is the potter, he perfectly formed us, in HIS image. ❤️
