Motherhood is an experience like no other – it can be awe-inspiring while also incredibly challenging. One in five moms will face another serious battle: postpartum mental health struggles such as postpartum depression (PPD) and anxiety (PPA). During this phase, moms may feel hopeless, depressed, anxious, or not like themselves, with some even grappling with severe mental health issues and intense overwhelm. Untreated, these symptoms can last for years. What is the best way to overcome these hurdles so that moms can feel like their best selves again?

This is the question we aim to answer on Let’s Thrive Postpartum, an inspiring podcast and a safe space for moms dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety. Here, you'll find much needed guidance for support, self-care, laughter, and hope, so you can ultimately Thrive Postpartum, not just as a mom, but in every aspect of your life.

The episodes feature real-life stories from moms who have fought through overwhelming postpartum mental health struggles and emerged fulfilled, as well as advice from experts who support moms during their postpartum healing. We’ll discuss ways to strengthen your Body, Mind, Soul, and Role (in motherhood) to overcome PPD and PPA, find yourself again, and become the mom you want to be.

Importantly, this show is for all moms struggling with their mental health the first few years after childbirth, including those who have sought professional help but still seek further mental support and motivation; those who are looking for ideas to better support themselves; those who are not sure if they have PPD or PPA but do wish they could feel better overall; and even those who are pregnant and want to proactively plan to support their mental health after birth.

You are not alone in this fight – we are here with you.

Meet podcast host Kelly Siebold, a mom who has faced postpartum depression, anxiety, and OCD after the birth of her child. After overcoming these challenges, she's on a mission to help other moms find the help she wishes she had. Kelly's real-life experiences as a mom who is now thriving postpartum can help other moms move towards a better place in life and unlock a happier version of themselves. Kelly is also the CEO and Founder of Thrive Postpartum, a virtual community providing comprehensive support for moms with postpartum depression, anxiety, and mental health challenges. Their 24/7 service, packed with educational courses and training materials, is invaluable for moms seeking to nurture a better post-pregnancy life while supporting their whole self, including their Body, Mind, Soul, and Role (in motherhood).

Meet podcast co-hosting, Ashley Moore, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and mom of two who’ve taught her many lessons in their first few years on earth…including navigating postpartum anxiety. This experience inspired a passion for helping other moms find more connection, awareness, and joy and bringing those insights into daily life. She views maternal mental health and well-being holistically and understands the systemic factors that influence the challenges faced by modern moms. Ashley will be the first to say that her own anxiety is a constant work-in-progress, and loves helping moms rediscover themselves and create change that is sustainable for years to come. Along with a dose of real talk, laughter and the occasional box of tissues, Ashley will meet you where you are and help get you to where you want to go.
