Comedian Justin Palko joins the Fat Woke Boyz to discuss his hatred of 12 step programs. All three people on this podcast have experience with 12 step programs be they AA or NA. Justin doesn't appreciate the exclusionary nature of 12 step programs - it's either their way or the highway. We discuss the rehab to working at a rehab pipeline, the 13th step, go over our favorite sobriety cliches and talk about how the process of tearing you down so that your only solution is to put your life in the hands of the AA egregore is stupid and the success rate doesn't justify it. Jeremy is 9 years clean and sober, Jordan is under a year, Justin is 2 years clean at the time of recording, and none of them go to meetings. We also discuss Jordan and Justin's time spent in rehab, kids being scared straight in rehab and our favorite old timers and meeting celebrities.
