    On this episode, Lauren is joined by the wonderful Northern Irish singer, songwriter David C Clements.

    Following the release of his debut album 'The Longest Day in History' in 2016, David has established himself as one of Northern Ireland's most distinctive voices.

    In the eight years since the release of his debut album, Clements has toiled through creativity's long winters and now offers up 'The Garden', an 11-track record featuring songs written with Iain Archer and Jacknife Lee.

    Released in September this year via Third Bar Record, Clements writes about empathy and escape, the mundane and the unmeasurable.

    On this episode, Lauren is joined by the brilliant English singer songwriter, Jamie Lawson.

    After the release of his 2003 debut album 'Last Night Stars', Jamie has gone on to have five other records, including his 2015 self-titled record which scored him a number 1 album in the UK and features the international hit Wasn’t Expecting That, which has been streamed over 300 million times.

    In 2023, Jamie released his 6th album 'Little Weaknesses'. Chronicling the earliest years of fatherhood and a newfound creative energy, Little Weaknesses is a 14 track record that embraces brightness and brims with optimism for the future. It’s a record that sees Jamie wholeheartedly embrace collaboration, working alongside a close-knit group of artists and friends. The entire album was crafted in Jamie’s music room in Manchester and recorded by producer-collaborator Tim Ross in Twickenham.

  • Episode 42: Olivia Chaney: 'Circus Of Desire'

    On this episode, Lauren is joined by the wonderful Olivia Chaney. Born in Florence to a writer and painter-turned-academic, Olivia grew up listening to everything from Prince to Henry Purcell.

    In 2015, she released her first solo album 'The Longest River', receiving rave reviews. Three years later, she recorded her second album 'Shelter' in NYC with genius producer-pianist Thomas Bartlett.

    These records established Olivia’s reputation as the author of an unmistakable brand of luscious, sophisticated music that explores inherited trauma, the clash of tradition and modernity, and the paradoxes of love.

    'Circus of Desire', released in March this year, is the highly anticipated third studio album from Olivia. Worked up over five eventful years, this collection of songs was recorded in NYC with long-time collaborator, producer and musician Thomas Bartlett. Featuring an all-star line-up of friends old and new, 'Circus of Desire' is Olivia set free.
