  • Genelia Deshmukh's Child Opened Her Eyes - On Veganism & India [English and Hindi]
    Jan 13 2026

Today, we are joined by 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐮𝐤𝐡 - a celebrated 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫, 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚. Beyond the screen and spotlight, Genelia represents something far deeper: the courage to question long-held beliefs, the honesty to confront uncomfortable truths, and the compassion to change once you truly see. What started during COVID as a health experiment slowly became a powerful inner reckoning. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭, 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐲 - until you stop and truly see it. She opens up about how motherhood reshaped her empathy, why she could no longer look at animals the same way, and how choosing a plant-based lifestyle helped her feel aligned with her values for the first time. The conversation challenges some of the 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧, 𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧. Genelia breaks these ideas down with calm clarity, pointing out how the foods most Indian households grow up eating are already plant-based, and how fear around protein, strength, and nutrition is often driven by misinformation rather than facts. She also speaks candidly about 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜, 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭, 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞.As the founder of Imagine Foods, Genelia dives into the real protein conversation in India explaining why deficiency is widespread across both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, how traditional foods like dals, millets, seeds, and legumes already hold the answers, and why food doesn’t need to be aggressive, extreme, or perfect to be impactful. This episode isn’t about preaching or perfection. It’s about questioning what we’ve been conditioned to accept, choosing kindness over convenience, and realising that change doesn’t come from force — it comes from awareness, empathy, and better information.👉 Watch the full episode of Kindness with Amy to hear Genelia Deshmukh’s powerful journey, unfiltered truths, and why she believes compassion is the future.

  • Sundeep Sharma’s UNFILTERED Take on Animals, Politics & God might Shake Your POV!😱
    Dec 9 2025

In this explosive episode of Kindness With Amy, we are joined by 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 - one of India’s most fearless and sharp-witted stand-up comedians, a former radio writer and voice-over artist who spent nearly two decades behind the mic before becoming a recognized face on stage and YouTube. Known for his bold viewpoints and unfiltered honesty, Sandeep brings a perspective few artists dare to voice publicly.

Sundeep opens up about the 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝, questions why India facing rape, unemployment, underfunded hospitals and overflowing wards keeps insisting that s𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧’𝐬 “𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦,” 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭.

He reflects on the 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐚, exposes how animal sacrifice and tradition continue unchecked in many communities, and shares his own shift away from meat after learning how doctors often give incomplete nutrition advice. He even speaks about what emotional repression in Indian men is really doing to society and why violence toward animals is never isolated violence.

Raw, bold, emotional, and unsettling, this conversation forces us to ask: 𝐈𝐟 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨? 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨?

As the conversation unfolds, @manavi.rai.7 shares her firsthand experiences, revealing how many long-established NGOs have drifted far from their founding mission. She talks about trustees who treat these organizations as their personal property, where decisions are influenced more by politics and pride than by empathy and purpose. Amy and her guest peel back the layers of illusion to show how the very institutions built to serve animals sometimes end up serving their leaders instead. The discussion dives deep into the emotional side of activism, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝, and the courage it takes to question unethical practices in spaces meant for kindness. • [Hindi] The 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 & the 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 in a Cruel World with 𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗛 of PEEPAL FARM
    Oct 15 2025

We live in a world where animals scream and we scroll.

    Where kindness feels "feminine".

    And happiness? A marketing campaign.

In this episode, Robin Singh — the man behind Peepal Farm, India’s most honest animal rescue and vegan farm — talks about:

🐄 Why empathy is dying (and why we let it)

🌱 What real happiness looks like beyond consumerism

🔥 How kindness can be rebellion in a cruel world

💭 The spiritual emptiness behind “doing good” for social media

❤️ And why saving animals might just be saving ourselves.

Robin Singh is the founder of Peepal Farm, a rescue and recovery centre for injured and abandoned animals in Himachal Pradesh that doubles as a hub for conscious living and social impact. Before dedicating his life to compassion work, Robin was a successful tech entrepreneur — he founded E-junkie, a platform that helped creators sell digital goods easily. After years in the tech world, he sold his business and began searching for more meaningful work, eventually realising that his purpose lay in reducing suffering — for both humans and animals. In 2014, Robin and his partner Shivani Singh built Peepal Farm from the ground up in Dhanotu village near Dharamshala. The farm is run on a simple philosophy: “Do less harm, do more good, and influence others to do the same.” It’s not just an animal rescue centre — it’s a social experiment in sustainable living. Every structure is built with mud and salvaged materials, the team grows their own food, and everything, from the food they cook to the products they sell, is vegan and cruelty-free. The farm sustains itself through community stays, donations, and the sale of homemade goods, all while creating employment for local villagers.Today, Peepal Farm has become a symbol of compassionate entrepreneurship in India. Robin’s straightforward honesty, tech-sharp problem-solving mindset, and raw storytelling have inspired millions online to rethink their relationship with animals and consumption. His journey — from software founder to animal rescuer — is less about escape and more about alignment: building a life that reflects his values. As Robin often says, “The goal isn’t to save the world — it’s to make sure the world is a little less cruel because you existed.”#RobinSingh #PeepalFarm #Happiness #Podcast #VeganPodcast #AmyAela #KindnesswithAmy
