  • 2/11/26: [Butt] Dial 911
    Feb 12 2026

Ashton and Jaffer start out the show reading the police-related headlines of the week and talk some updates on couple previously discussed stories. As for the main stories, there's lots to talk about this week. First, ICE agents are starting to publicly express anger about their jobs, from a lack of benefits to a lack of leadership. Then there's the outrageous killing of Christian Diaz Rendon, after Phoenix cops respond to an intruder with a gun call only to enter the home and kill the father who had just disarmed the intruder. Finally, a ridiculous story about Maryland cops accidentally butt dialing a horribly offensive voicemail about assaulting a council woman they personally knew, and also Kash Patel is an idiot.

  • 2/4/26: Artificial Evidence
    Feb 5 2026

We got a banger for ya'll this week with special guest co-host Mycal Dede joining Jaffer. After another insane headline roundup, we start with commentary on the ICE killing of Alex Pretti and the sentencing of the cop who killed Sonya Massey.

Then, we dive into the two newest examples of police techno-dystopia with cops again, and again, using AI to arrest the wrong people. This time we got a disgruntled boyfriend framing his ex-girlfriend and decades old cold-case that some random person in Mexico has to suddenly get arrested over. After that we discuss the infuriating acquittal of one of the cop who stood by while a killer murdered children in the school he was hired to protect, and explore why it's so difficult to prosecute police for inaction. Then we got comedian Desi Banks and a possible Mossad collab (Steph Curry too - why not?), a cop poisoning his girlfriend's dog, and so much more.

  • 1/21/26: Free John Pork
    Jan 22 2026

This week, a cop in LA felt victimized by his local Starbucks barista, who so cruelly drew a pig onto the officers cup, prompting the sheriff to get involved. Although it could have simply been a barista who liked drawing brainrot memes. Then we dive into other recent cases of cops making victims out of themselves at corporate restaurant chains.

The trial for the NYPD officer who killed a delivery driver began this week. We cover the details of the case and the larger issues at play.

Lastly, a journalist went undercover and got hired by ICE immediately. So, more ICE recruitment nonsense to discuss.

On our Patreon, we talk about some salacious NYPD side hustles along with the tech war bubbling in Minneapolis between the protestors and ICE.

We discuss the tragic death of Renee Good, the first officer to stand trial for the Uvalde school shooting, the legal reality that cops are not required to protect the public, and a new law review study calling “suicide by cop” junk science used to excuse police killings.

We also look at police culture from the inside, including a lawsuit alleging discrimination, retaliation, and AI-generated harassment within a state patrol agency.

  • 1/7/25: Child’s Play (Cop Fights A Child In A Pool, Cops Use AI To Turn Themselves Into Frogs, More)
    Jan 8 2026

Police departments are increasingly relying on AI to write official reports — and this week, one of those systems produced a report claiming an officer turned into a frog after audio from The Princess and the Frog contaminated the file.

We break down how and why police agencies are adopting AI despite clear accuracy failures, and what this means for accountability when automated systems are used to generate official records.

The episode also examines a major legal ruling in Austin, Texas, where an appeals court overturned a jury conviction and acquitted a police officer who killed a man during a mental health crisis inside an elevator.

We also discuss a former police officer who violently attacked a child in a swimming pool, a police chief who accidentally burned down a nursing home, and a Wisconsin judge convicted after helping a migrant avoid ICE arrest inside her courtroom.

🎧 Bonus episode on Patreon covers Cop City protests and a Blackwater-linked company contracting with ICE.
