Rich and Zach Stevenson (Father and Son) will begin a new podcast called “Join Me in the Ruins” on March 3rd. We are calling this a RE · CON · STRUCT Podcast…take that word apart and you get: AGAIN · TOGETHER · BUILD. We care deeply for those who feel the need to deconstruct their faith because of questions, brokenness or injustice. We also want to encourage leaders in the church to lead with humble hearts and provide space for honest conversation. The truth is, we believe it is sometimes essential to deconstruct. Jesus did it when he said “You’ve heard that it was said…but I say to you… .” In the 2nd chapter of Nehemiah, he mounts a horse alone at night and surveys the ruins of Jerusalem: 17 Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.” Would you "Join Us in the Ruins?"
