Here's an idea, why don't we READ THE BIBLE!  Recently it has dawned on me that there are many of us who call ourselves Christians that do not have a regular diet of reading the God's word and in times like these, digging into our Bibles is one of the BEST things we can do.  So today, we're simply going to read the Bible.  Starting with the first book of the New Testament, we'll be reading Matthew chapter one and continue to read a chapter at a time to help each of us stay connected to truth. Yesterday on August 26th, 2021 there was an attack on US Troops and Afghanistan civilians at the gates of the Kabul airport killing and wounding many.  This incident has made many of us feel several different things.  So what do we do?  What is our response when the wicked succeed?  Lets look at Psalms 37 and see how the Bible tells us to respond.  Continue to meditate on the word and pray for our brothers and sisters down our street and across the globe.
