Known as the Rabid Wolverine, The Canadian Crippler, Wild Pegasus, Pegasus Kid, and most important The Broom, he is often touted as the best damned technical wrestler in the world, Chris Benoit was, and still is to many, one of the greatest to ever grace to ring. But behind the tiny talent hides a very dark past of mental illness, abuse and drugs, all concluding with the murder of his wife Nancy and son Daniel. But was it really Benoit? or could it have been the acts of another demonic wrestler, out to frame Benoit and ruin his legacy. Well today we’ll find out. The Jersey Devil, possibly one of the most famous cryptids in American history, as well as one of the strangest. Being one of the first cryptids I was exposed to as a kid, I would google and freak out looking at grainy pictures of the strange horse-like creature with leathery wings. And as it turns out, I’m not even close to the only one as The Jersey Devil also happens to be one of the oldest in the country, with history dating back to some surprising icons of world history. As it turns out, people have been claiming to see this thing for so long, they named a hockey team after it, same for the Krakens, though I’m not sure they have many of those in Seattle.
