About Heather Asiyanbi:

Hello! My name is Heather Asiyanbi, and I am the editor of four Amazon best-sellers (and counting) plus more than a dozen children's books.

I launched Pens and Proof in August 2020 while I was still working a 9-5—what I like to call my dream funder. I am a great editor, and I wanted to be of service, so I combined the two in Pens and Proof.

When I had the incredible opportunity to take Pens and Proof full time, I took a leap of faith to make it my sole focus. I was absolutely terrified (still terrified) of failing, but what I’ve learned is that when you work in your zone of genius and you surround yourself – in real life and online – with people who are in your corner; when you are authentic; when you conduct your business with integrity; when you deliver on your promise; and when you give back to the circle that gives to you, success is almost guaranteed.

My experience comes from more than 20 years as a community journalist, editor, content marketer, and public relations professional as well as a lifetime of reading =.
