• The Register at the Moondance Inn — Fexingo Horror
    May 5 2026
A hot August night in 2003. Luna works the front desk at the Moondance Inn, a tired motel off Route 9 in western Massachusetts. A man checks in alone, pays cash, and asks for a room at the far end of the lot. He carries no luggage except a leather satchel. Over the next three days, Luna watches him come and go at odd hours, always returning before dawn. On the third night, she finds the guest register open to his page. The entry is smudged, the ink weirdly dry, and next to his signature is a symbol she didn't see him draw. She looks up his room number on the key rack. The key is still there. He never returned it. She walks the lot to room 14. The door is unlocked. Inside, the room is cold, the bed untouched, and on the nightstand lies the satchel, open, empty except for a single photograph—a polaroid of the motel itself, taken from the road, with a light on in a window that doesn't exist. Luna ends the story not knowing what she witnessed, only that the register holds one more name now, and she'll never forget the feeling of that cold air on her skin.

  • The Woman in Room 9 — Fexingo Horror
    May 4 2026
It's the winter of 2005, just before Christmas, and Luna is working the overnight shift at a faded roadside motel just off Route 17, a few miles outside a town called Slade's Creek. A woman pulls in alone, no luggage, pays cash for room 9, and asks for the key to be left under the mat. She says she won't need anything else. But then Luna notices the car hasn't moved. The curtains stay drawn. Days pass. And the woman begins to leave notes—folded slips of paper wedged under the office door at 3:17 AM every night. Notes that seem to be written for someone who will never arrive. Notes that know more about Luna than they should. This episode is about waiting, about the things we leave unfinished, and about the guest who refuses to check out.

  • The Night Manager at the Starlite Motor Lodge — Fexingo Horror
    May 3 2026
In the summer of 1998, Luna worked the 11-to-7 shift at the Starlite Motor Lodge on Route 9, a two-story horseshoe of beige stucco and flickering neon just outside Centerville, Ohio. It was a quiet night in late August, humid and still, until a man in a damp suit checked in around 2:30 AM and asked for the room at the far end of the second floor. Room 214 had been out of order for months — black mold, busted AC, the lock didn't catch. But the register showed a key missing from the hook, and the man's receipt from the previous week bore the same scrawl. What Luna found in the maintenance closet, and what the security footage caught at 3:14 AM, turned the vacancy sign from red to something else entirely. This is a story about the guests who never leave, about the smell of wet wool, and about the phone that rings in an empty room.

  • The Lost Hours at the Sun Crest Motel — Fexingo Horror
    May 2 2026
Luna recounts a late-night shift at the Sun Crest Motel outside Quartz Creek, Arizona, where a woman named Carla checked in with a story that didn't add up. It was November, cold, and the vacancy sign buzzed red through the glass. Carla brought no luggage, paid in cash, and left the key on the desk before dawn — but her room was still locked from inside. Luna shares what she found when she opened room 8 with the master key: an unmade bed, a damp footprint on the tile, and a receipt from a gas station sixty miles away, dated three weeks before Carla was born. A quiet, disquieting episode about time, loss, and the things that slip through the cracks.
