Metanthropy is a future philosophy podcast about compassionate self-directed evolution.

Hosted by Max Nova, the show explores how humanity — and future sentient life — may move beyond biological limitation through science, technology, wisdom, and ethical imagination.

Metanthropy is not generic futurism, tech hype, AI panic, or cold transhumanist abstraction. It asks what the future means from both the objective standpoint of science, engineering, biology, neuroscience, AI, and biotechnology, and the subjective standpoint of lived experience: fear, love, death, identity, beauty, creativity, suffering, dignity, and meaning.

The podcast investigates artificial intelligence, longevity, brain-computer interfaces, genetic engineering, neurotechnology, robotics, synthetic biology, artificial sentience, space civilization, and the moral future of life itself.

Its central question is not merely what we can build.

It is what we should become.

Metanthropy begins from one conviction:

Humanity is precious, but not final.

In this opening episode of Metanthropy, host Max Nova introduces the core idea behind the project: future philosophy for compassionate self-directed evolution.

Metanthropy is not generic futurism, tech hype, AI panic, or cold transhumanist abstraction. It is a way of thinking about the future of humanity through both objective rigor and subjective meaning — science, technology, biology, AI, and engineering on one side; fear, love, death, identity, suffering, beauty, dignity, and lived experience on the other.

This episode defines Metanthropy’s central question:

What should humanity become when intelligence gains the power to redesign the conditions of life?

Topics include transhumanism, human enhancement, artificial intelligence, longevity, biotechnology, brain-computer interfaces, the moral future of sentient life, and why humanity may be precious without being final.

    Metanthropy begins from one conviction:

Compassion before power. Wisdom before transcendence. Humanity is precious, but humanity is not final.
