Luna returns to the editing booth the morning after finding the first cassette. She listens to the second tape found inside the box—a woman's voice, recorded in 1987, describing a red door in the basement of 47 Sycamore Street. Luna becomes convinced the door is real and still exists. She drives to the abandoned house, breaks in, and finds the door in the basement—painted a deep rust red, warm to the touch. She opens it and descends stone steps into darkness, following a sound like breathing. The episode ends with her realizing the steps go much deeper than the house's foundation, and the breathing behind her is not her own.
