Welcome to the new series to amplify the voices of untamed women in a performative space, giving a space to unpublished new writing read by wonderful performers and delving deep into the inspiration behind the creatives.

Hosted by Z, led by Uninhibited. In this series come for the wonderfully funny, powerfully poetic, stunning spoken word or brilliant monologues pieces aimed to empower, educate and engage us all in the themes of womanhood today.

    Welcome to the 3rd episode and final episode. Listen to Z outro the debut and then welcome in the final writer for TSS, writer, Tayla Kenyon.

    Z then introduces Michelle Luther, actress and VoiceOver artist known for her screen work and theatre credits as she takes on Taylas piece ‘Things Left Unsaid’.

    Listen to Tayla discuss their piece, how it came about and their own personal journey with step parenting that led to her writing this piece of poetry. At the end, Tayla gives exciting news on her upcoming projects and how you can connect with her along with her production company Teepee productions.

    The series then gives the spotlight to organisation Be Step Wise with the companies leading lady, Alison, who speaks about the organisations work, her own experience and how the work at BeStepWise is so crucial today.

    Z then introduces Sarah, her multi-faceted and decades worth of experience in theatre & screen, where she then gives the stage to Sarah to bring to life and perform her own piece ‘Smooth like an egg’.

    Listen to Sarah discuss their journey as a artist and writer since first starting out to now, how the piece came about and the many pressures women face in beauty, ageing and the chasing of youth in todays society. She speaks about the piece, her own experiences and at the end, Sarah gives exciting news on her upcoming projects and how you can connect with her.

    Hii Shrews!

    Welcome to the 1st episode, 1st act. Listen to Z introduce the series and then welcome in the opening writer for TSS, writer and performer, Mille Zhong.

    Listen to them discuss the experiences felt being a East Asian NB artist in the Western World and what that means to Mille. Z gives the stage to Mille to not only highlight their experience growing up in France as a non-binary creative but also gives insight on the inspirations around their piece offered to the 1st episode 'East Asian in a Western World'. They end the interview hearing about how you can connect with Mille and follow their work.

    Z then moves onto the introduction to Vera Chok, the brilliant voice artist performing the piece written by Mille. A blend between the theatre scene and the voice world, we hear a dramatic take on a monologue piece around cultural experiences.

    After the performance, Z then moves onto a interview with Ensemble Not Found, a London based East Asian theatre company that surrounds itself with the themes Mille speaks about and a chance for TSS to hold space to advocate for a company linked to the conversations held in the themes of the episodes writing. Speaking with Xiaonan, one member of the team at ENF, they both discuss the vast scale of theatre and the place ENF holds in the theatre scene and why it's so important to keep the cross over of culture in London and in theatre.
