Today’s show had a little bit of everything — laughs, snacks, and a tough loss for Jay.

We kicked things off with some fun talk around National Cheese Doodle Day, which quickly turned into a snack debate with listeners about their favorite crunchy treats and what snacks seem to disappear the fastest when kids get home from school.

One of the big moments of the morning came during our Thursday Kids IQ trivia segment, where Floyd Washington stepped up to challenge Jay in “Are You Smarter Than Jay Lindly.” After a few tough questions, Floyd managed to take the win — proving once again that taking on Jay in trivia can go either way!

We also talked about a study suggesting making goals more fun can help people feel more motivated and productive, which sparked conversation with listeners about how they stay on track during the week.

Another interesting topic was the idea of the “creative hangover,” where people who spend a highly creative day brainstorming or producing ideas often feel mentally drained the next day.
