With more than 500 published papers and over 40,000 citations, Prof. Alexander Ford is a notable name in gastroenterology academia. He is a professor of gastroenterology at University of Leeds, honorary consultant gastroenterologist at St. James's University Hospital, Leeds, UK, and the deputy editor of Gut. He joins FG editor Dr. Philip Smith and deputy editor Dr. Aditi Kumar to reflect on his career and the learnings he's taken from it. This is the second part in a mini-series of three parts.
