Here in this podcast, I love to rank stuff, from films, food, entertainment and other topics, lets all take a break and reflect on the topics that really matter to us. But above all else, lets get ranking and extract the message and story behind every list. I hope you enjoy being a part of the Free Kick and Reels Podcast.

For those are confused about the title, free kick refers to the literal meaning in football to which I will be using as a topic in future episodes, but it also means time out, taking a moment to stop and pause, the term reels refers to several moments, either on screen or moments that have happened in the past. This will be a nostalgia focused podcast.

    Welcome, everyone. This is the first unofficial episode of Free Kick & Reel, presented by me, Sam Edwards. And today, we’re doing a top five ranking of the Rambo films. You know, every Friday—no, it’s Thursday, but every Friday—we'll be doing a Franchise Friday takedown, where we rank a particular film franchise. It could be one that I’ve seen many times, or a new one. But today, we are revisiting the Rambo films, which is a personal favorite of mine. I do like these films; I like Stallone—he’s one of my favorite '80s action stars. And this is coming from someone that was born in ’97—I wasn’t born in the '80s, I wasn’t even born in the '70s. But I still feel like I can go back and watch these films from the '80s and '90s and still get a complete kick out of them. I think—I don’t know—I just like the way he acts. But in particular, I love the character of Rambo. I think I love the fact that, you know, I just like the character.
