We’re Longer Than Three Seconds 🏐- two amateur netballers who love the game and want to talk about it.
Each week we’ll chat through the NSL games - what actually happened, why it mattered, and what we think might happen next. No jargon, no pretending we’re elite coaches. Just proper netball conversation for people who are getting into the league, want to understand it better, or already care a bit too much (like us!).
But we’re also bringing our own netball lives into it…
The outdoor games in sideways rain.
Being told it’s a “non-contact sport” while someone is fully breathing down your neck nowhere near the ball.
Trying to subtly hide long nails from the umpire every single week.
The post-match debrief via voice notes that lasts longer than the actual game.
Because most of us don’t play in arenas. We play in sports halls, school courts and leisure centres. And that’s just as much netball.
There are so many people who play this sport. It deserves more attention, more conversation, more visibility. We just want to be part of that!!! Shining a bit more light on the game we love.
