  • A Check-in With My Horse Jack
    Feb 20 2026

This episode features Jack. One of those horses who just gets people.

I check in with Jack during the Fire Horse year, and as usual, he brings calm into the middle of a lot of movement. While ponies wander through, my daughter climbs on, and plans change in real time, Jack stays steady and aware. He reminds me to slow down, pay attention, and keep things simple, even when everything around us feels busy.

Nothing here is polished or planned. It is real life with horses. A little messy, a little funny, and full of moments where presence matters more than control.

    A simple reflection
Today, notice where you already know what to do but are tempted to rush past it. Pause. Pay attention. Calm and awareness often do more than effort ever will.

Jack made it clear. Steady beats loud every time.

  • Pony Logic, According to Chester
    Feb 19 2026

This episode features Chester. A pony with big opinions, strong boundaries, and a clear understanding of how apples factor into every decision.

I check in with Chester during the Fire Horse year, and he immediately takes the lead. He inspects the microphone, keeps an eye on the treats in my pocket, and reminds me that ponies do not participate without negotiation. There is movement, curiosity, and a lot of personality packed into this short exchange.

What unfolds is playful and honest. Chester shares his preferences, his humor, and his take on learning and trust. He reminds me that horses and ponies are always communicating, even when it looks messy, funny, or unexpected.

    A simple reflection

Today, notice how you respond when something feels unfamiliar or a little awkward. Instead of resisting it, stay curious. Let learning be light. Humor, patience, and trust often open doors faster than control ever will.

Chester was clear. Interviews are acceptable. Apples are required.

  • My Horse Jet Had a Few Things to Say
    Feb 18 2026

I kicked off the Fire Horse year with my very first fireside chat and instead of interviewing a person, I did what felt most honest. I interviewed my horse. Yes, an actual horse. There is no script, no pressure, and no rush. Just curiosity, breath, and a few apples in my pocket.

It is a reminder that connection does not need to be complicated to be meaningful.

    A simple reflection

Today, notice where you might be rushing a connection. Try meeting someone or something halfway instead. Slow down. Pay attention to body language, timing, and energy. Ask yourself what consent and presence look like in your world right now. Then let it be easy. Sometimes the most honest exchange happens when you stop trying to make it happen.
