The jets create a suction force that allows a forcefully draws in a user’s hair, potentially submerges the head underwater, and leads to drowning. Affected: jets in model year 2023, 2024 and 2025 spas, and jets sold as replacement parts.
About 32,900 of these dangerous jets were sold in the US and about 853 were sold in Canada by independent pool and spa dealers from October 2022 through September 2025.
Stop using these recalled jets. and go to the firm’s website watkinsmfg.com to determine if your spa and jets have been recalled. If so, contact contact Watkins Wellness at 1-888-450-5748 or via email at jetrecall@watkinsmfg.com to obtain instructions and a video showing how to turn the jets off and how to install free replacement jet inserts. You will need the serial number which is located on the front of the spa.
