    Send us a text

Welcome to our first episode of Sanity Circle!

We come with a trauma informed approach to finding grounded-ness and self embodiment during this current political hellscape. We release episodes every other week.

Today we are joined by Sam Sessiman, a Certified Trauma Therapist; and the episode is led by me (Shaylyn Bradshaw, MSW, LCSW) and Amber DeLugosh, a school librarian who provides her own unique lens.

Samantha Sessamen is a LMHC-D and she is located in the state of New York. Her practice focuses on trauma work through EMDR related to eating disorders, dissociative disorders, and complex trauma. She is queer affirming, neurodivergent affirming, and she’s aware of the impacts of systemic and cultural trauma. You can find out more about her therapy work here: https://www.samanthasessamenlmhc.org/

Samantha also engages her community through trainings and teachings about body liberation through her agency: Body Liberated Buffalo. You can learn more about her work here: https://www.bodyliberatedbuffalo.com/

She is joining us today to discuss the work of recognizing political trauma, calling out white supremacy, and the importance of community work.
