In Episode 3, the kids take action—they form a plan to document the supernatural by taking photographs of what they suspect is the monster. With help from Will Hanlon and his new friend Rich Santos, Lilly and Ronnie hold a séance in a cemetery that goes off script. Simultaneously, Dick Hallorann—introduced more prominently—uses his psychic “shine” ability in a terrifying vision that links Derry’s past to the monster’s present. The episode ends with a chilling photo of a clown-figure emerging, marking the first real visual tie to the entity known from the mythos.
