Über diesen Titel
In this episode, reviewing Chapter 2, I have to ask the question - Is Lee a hero, or an anti-hero? (Webster defines an antihero as “a protagonist or notable figure who is conspicuously lacking in heroic qualities.) We'll compare old movie heroes to modern movie heroes. Lee is really angry, and in Chapter 2 he defends a couple of the soldiers in his unit against some bigoted guys from another unit. Is that heroic? Most of us would feel Lee’s anger is justified, but is his anger righteous anger – or is it just an excuse to fight?
Please also check out our INSIDE THE CHAPTERS podcast hosted by Michele Jaco. Each week, she reviews the new chapter with the author of WHEN I SEE THE WOLF RIDE to examine the origins of the ideas and symbolism hidden in the story.
ABOUT THE AUDIO PRODUCTION
Each chapter's audio production is read by the author, with some additional parts read by Michele Jaco. Using AI technology and other techniques, the final product sounds as if it has a full cast of voices, which adds realism to the final production.
