I lost my younger sister in the year of 2021 to suicide. From that day on I said to myself I am talking about the issues that deferred my generation and other generations down dark paths to never seeking help or guidance from love ones we care so much about them.Rachel Davis Hygiene & gesundes Leben Seelische & Geistige Gesundheit

This interview was on my mind, on my spirit, on my heart!!! Thank You NuNu for this wonderful experience. I can't wait to do more and motivate more. Aye! I said this is going to be our year! This quote made me cry happy tears! *I'm trying not to cry now*.

“Feel good about your journey. There might be failures but there is success too. Grief is there but so is joy. You came this far despite barriers. You have potential to go much further. Be grateful for making it here. Be hopeful for the way ahead.”

    I NEED A MIC: Self-Reflection Series

    1. Journaling

    Daily reflection questions:

    What felt heavy today?

    What energized me?

What old patterns showed up again?

Past review: Go back over old journal entries and notice what cycles repeat.

    2. Mindful Pausing

Set aside 5–10 minutes daily to simply sit, breathe, and notice your thoughts without judgment.

Ask yourself: What is surfacing from my past that still needs attention?

    3. Mirror Work

Look at yourself in the mirror and gently say affirmations or ask:

    What am I avoiding?

What part of me needs compassion today?

    4. Reassessing Relationships

    Retrograde times are symbolic “checkpoints.”

    Reflect on:

    Who supports my growth?

    Who drains me?

    What boundaries need strengthening?

    5. Creative Reflection

Write a creative fantasy poem, letter, or story.

Mark key turning points and notice what lessons still echo.

    6. Meditation for Integration

Sit quietly and bring to mind a past event you often revisit.

Instead of reliving it, ask: What did this experience teach me? What part of me is still carrying it?

    7. Letter Writing

Write an unsent letter to your past self, to someone you’ve lost connection with, or to a part of you that feels stuck.

    Focus on forgiveness and release.

Don’t treat reflection as “fixing yourself.” It’s more about listening deeply to where you are, honoring what resurfaces, and deciding gently what to carry forward.
