Über diesen Titel
The quality of our life is influenced by the quality of our decisions and choices. And the quality of our decisions are influenced by the quality of how we think about things. It is therefore important that we pay attention to how we think and make our decisions. One of the things I think is useful is to be aware that we, humans, are prone to cognitive biases.
Cognitive bias refers to a systematic pattern of deviation from rationality in the way we process information or make judgments and decisions. It's a type of mental shortcut or heuristic that our brains use to make sense of complex information and make decisions quickly. However, these biases can also lead us to make errors or misjudgments, especially when we're not aware of them or don't take steps to overcome them. There are many different types of cognitive biases, and they can affect our perceptions, memories, beliefs, and behaviors in a variety of ways.
In this episode, I will share three of the most common cognitive biases: confirmation bias, sunk cost fallacy, and availability bias. I will also share ways to prevent ourselves from falling into these biases.
