Homelessness is an intricate and complex issue that can affect anyone from all ages and backgrounds. Because of a host of systemic disadvantages and racial disparities, homelessness disproportionately affects Black, indigenous, and people of color as well as LGBTQ+ youth.
Not to mention that, in accordance with Mikki Kendall's Hood Feminism, housing is a feminist issue that is often overlooked
