In this episode I'm talking about something I've personally struggled with for years, confidence. Specifically when it comes to social media and content creation - it's even funny writing this...
Anyway, I never would have stuck at being a PT had I not developed a way to overcome some of the challenge I talk about in this podcast. In overcoming them I'm now able to share a framework for how I've managed to overcome the social and confidence challenges I've faced.
Key Framework for Building Confidence:
1. Clarity
- Understand exactly where you lack confidence
- Be specific on what you want to be confident in
- Recognise confidence comes with practice
2. Have a Plan
- Make it a habit
- Start small actions to build a good foundation
- Make sure it challenges you to get out of your comfort zone
3. Take Consistent Action
- Focus on simple actions
- Consistency builds muscle memory and reduces anxiety
- Focus on showing up regularly, not just outcomes
