In this episode, I delve into my personal experiences with Bitcoin's layer twos. I share my journey of experimenting with various layer two solutions, starting with the Lightning Network. I recount how I bought channels, only to face issues when they closed, leaving my funds stuck for weeks.
Next, I discuss my attempt with an e-cash mint, which initially seemed promising due to its fast and cheap transactions. However, this venture ended in disappointment when the mint turned out to be unreliable.
I also talk about my experience with Liquid, another layer two solution that appeared to work well at first. Unfortunately, the lack of users made it less effective.
Throughout these trials, I express my hope for the development of drive chains, which I am eager to try in the future. Join me as I reflect on these lessons learned and my ongoing quest for a satisfying Bitcoin layer two solution.
