Are Pastor’s Kids Really the Worst? | Growing Up in Church as a PK

As a pastor’s kid, I’ve heard it all:“PKs are the worst,” “they’re rebellious,” “they should know better.” But is that the full story? In this episode, I’m opening up (part1) about my personal experience as a PK and why for me personally it was never a big deal because Jesus’ expectations went beyond the stereotypes.
This is just the beginning! more episodes are coming where I’ll go deeper into the PK experience. I’m even thinking of bringing in some of my fellow pastor’s kids for a real, honest conversation about it all.

"Birth Your Identity in Christ." In this episode, I talk about how God's light helps us understand who we really are. I don’t believe in “finding yourself” but in finding Jesus. Using Psalm 119:130(sorry in the video i made a mistake and mentioned the wrong verse), I explain how God’s Word shows us what’s really inside of us. 2025 is not for games! Put all games on DND. This year let your focus mode be turned on. My current personal definition of the word FOCUS is LOOKING UNTO JESUS. Meaning, no matter the distraction that is trying to pull me, my focus is JESUS.

In this episode, we're talking the new year. I encourage you to rely on the Holy Spirit to do exploits this year. Remember, it's not by power, it's not by might but it's by the Holy Spirit. As we move into 2025, you MUST establish a genuine relationship with the Holy Spirit. Additionally, I urge you to create a plan for the year; without a solid plan. If you don't make a plan the devil will make one for you. Fill your calendar and let God guide you along the way.
