Hey Sis, Eat This is a celebration of food, entertaining, and funny family tales hosted by sisters, Courtney & Whitney. Inspired by their mom, AKA Momma Ashley, a caterer who happens to know a thing or two about eat'n, drink'n, and tell'n stories! The sisters gather each week to gab about funny Momma Ashley stories, the hits and misses of their weekly menus, and parties thrown. Sibling guests join them to recount funny stories of holiday celebrations, family trips, and what it was like at their childhood dinner table. In each episode there is something new to learn about cooking and hosting while also recognizing the laughter and joy mothers provide us with daily. • Introducing 'Momma Said What??'
    Feb 13 2026

This week, Courtney and Whitney introduce their new opening segment, "Momma Said What?," a weekly recap of the funniest, sweetest, and WTF things their beloved Momma Ashley has said or done recently. But Momma's weekly "funny" involving a blown transformer and broken microwave reminded Courtney of a recent run‑in with their dad at the hair salon, where he put on one of his famous one‑man shows about his Bristol Farms grocery‑store debacle.

The crackups continue as the sisters touch on Courtney's silent staredown with comedian Bill Hader in L.A., adding to her list of awkward celebrity run‑ins, as well as Courtney getting permission from her doctor to continue eating her Joe & the Juice spicy tuna sandwiches after Whitney's concern about mercury poisoning from her regular consumption of her favorite lunch.

Thank God at least one sister is still cooking these days—and that sister is Whitney! Learn how an attempt at a prime‑rib sandwich a la Hillstone became a whole new, delicious recipe by accident. Tune in to hear the sisters dish on the latest and greatest in their lives as they gear up for the official launch of Season 5 filled with Mommas and siblings and recipes, oh my!

  • Phil Rosenthal is so nice!
    Jan 26 2026

In this episode, Momma Ashley is in the house! With the annual Snowmageddon coming to Dallas, Momma and Whitney are panic-shopping like it's pre-COVID with plans to cook all weekend. Courtney calls in from LA, chomping at the bit to hear Momma and Whitney recap their incredible meet-and-greet with Somebody Feed Phil creator Phil Rosenthal. Momma brought Phil her famous Pinch of Texas brownies while Whitney pitched him on coming to Hey Sis with his brother. They both can't stop gushing about how genuinely nice Phil was.

Courtney shares that she's deep in the emotional trenches of parenting her teenage daughters and wants to know from Momma if she and Whitney were "real mean" when they were teens. Momma's sage advice for those teenage years? "It's always about them and they don't want to do what you want to do. The sooner you learn that mommy, the better off you're going to be."

  • Divorce Boot Camp and Bathtub Beef
    Jan 16 2026

After paying tribute to the one-year anniversary of the Los Angeles fires last week, Courtney and Whitney finally circle back to their usual nonsense including questionable food, wood conundrums and the slow realization that everyone they know is either perimenopausal or allergic to something.

The sisters recap Christmas and NYE from Dallas to Broken Bow to Vegas, including bathtub braised short ribs, sea bass in tomato "Comcast," and why Caesar salad was banned during "Divorce Boot Camp!" Courtney shares highlights from a perimenopause documentary premiere involving monks, hormone replacement therapy, and a missed opportunity to yell "cougar puberty" in a packed theater. Whitney counters with walkie-talkie role play and the emotional toll of relinquishing menu control.

It's that time of year when the Texas mountain cedar is taking everyone down, including Momma Ashley. The sisters swap stories about Momma's outdoor nap that led to her yearly bout of laryngitis, but that won't stop her from calling both girls to check in despite having no voice.
