  • Go Slow
    Mar 9 2026
Ep. 148 Lately, the world feels heavy. The news, the stress, the constant pressure to keep going, it can take a real toll on your nervous system. In this episode of Healthy Illness, I’m sharing a mindfulness and breathing practice that I personally rely on when everything starts to feel like too much. I call it the Go-Slow Framework — a simple way to slow your breath, calm your body, and bring your nervous system back into balance. This isn’t about pretending things aren’t hard. It’s about giving yourself a moment to pause, regulate, and reconnect with yourself so you can move through life with a little more steadiness and care. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by everything happening in the world right now, this episode is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and come back to yourself. • Motherhood, Mental Health + Penance Work
    Mar 2 2026
Ep. 147 Have you ever wondered if the work you feel called to do is connected to the parts of your story that still ache? In this unfiltered episode, I reflect on motherhood, mental illness, and a realization that brought me to tears. “The desire to help moms advocate for themselves and to learn about themselves so that they could be a better parent, has me wondering if my doula work is more of penance work.” - Kelly Marie If you’ve ever replayed your past while trying to heal in the present, this conversation is for you. You are not alone. Always be the light — especially to yourself.
